Karen Guan

Karen Guan, M.A., is a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology training program at UCLA, where her advisors are Drs. Bruce Chorpita and Anna Lau. Her research focuses on the occurrence and management of exceptional events in the implementation of mental health services for children and families. Specifically, she is interested in the integrity of evidence-based treatments and how integrity may be disrupted by stressful emergent life events (ELEs) in clients’ lives.
