Stephanie Yu is a first-year doctoral student in UCLA’s Clinical Psychology program, working with Dr. Anna Lau as her primary mentor. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Social Welfare at UC Berkeley, where she worked as a research coordinator with Dr. Allison Harvey, implementing a transdiagnostic, modular sleep treatment into community mental health clinics of Alameda County. Her research interests center around dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices (EBPs) into community mental health settings. Specifically, she is interested in 1) developing adaptation frameworks to increase fit of interventions to the complex contexts and diverse patient populations of community mental health, 2) disparities in minority mental health care access, and 3) cultivating community-university partnerships for knowledge exchange to enhance EBP implementation and sustainment.
