Dr. Ashley M. Smith

Ashley Smith, Ph.D., received her B.S. from Northwestern University in 2009, and her doctoral degree from the University of Miami in 2017. She completed her predoctoral psychology internship at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Smith’s research in dissemination and implementation science focuses on evidence-based assessment, understanding attitudes towards evidence-based practices (EBPs), and sustainment of EBPs in community mental health settings, including identifying how to tailor implementation support strategies to be most effective for varied mental health systems. Additionally, she is interested in exploring how opportunities offered by technology can be used to enhance the uptake and sustainment of EBPs into systems of care.
